Hi, I’m Machaela—a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and former Division 1 basketball player. My expertise in sports performance, injury prevention, and return-to-play is backed by both science and firsthand experience competing at the highest level.
But my coaching goes beyond just the physical.
As a college athlete, I struggled with the pressures of competition, the weight of expectations, and the toll it took on my mental health. I know what it’s like to push your body to its limits while silently battling self-doubt, burnout, or the fear of not being good enough. It took me years to fully understand that strength isn’t just about physical power—it’s about resilience, confidence, and the ability to handle adversity.
That’s why my coaching is built on more than just workouts. I teach athletes how to train with intention, develop mental resilience, and build the habits that create long-term success—not just in sports, but in life.
I help high school basketball athletes get stronger, faster, and more explosive, but I also help them develop the mental tools to handle pressure, overcome setbacks, and step onto the court with complete confidence. Because at the next level, talent alone isn’t enough—it’s the athletes who are physically prepared and mentally unshakable who truly stand out.
